Sennichimae · Namba — Chicken chintan ramen & gyoza
Crystal-clear chicken broth, made from scratch every day. Noodles chosen to suit each soup. Gyoza packed to the edges, and a cold beer. At a backstreet counter in Sennichimae, open until 2 AM.
01Our craft
Everything here starts with chicken chintan — a clear broth simmered so it never turns cloudy. Light on the palate, yet satisfying to the very last sip. We don't cut corners on that bowl.

Shio gets its own noodle; shoyu gets another. We match the noodle to the soup so every first bite tastes the way it should.
Pan-fried gyoza generously stuffed to the edges. Perfect alongside ramen — or with a beer.
03First visit
No reservation needed. When you spot the yellow noren curtain, just come on in.

Look for the yellow curtain reading “ラーメン餃子” (ramen & gyoza) and the red lanterns on a Sennichimae corner. The entrance is just around that corner to the left, in the lantern-lit alley under a navy curtain. If every seat is taken, please wait just outside.

We have English, Simplified Chinese and Korean menus. Rather not speak? Tap “Show to staff” on any dish on this page.

Take a spoonful of the clear soup first, then the noodles. Want more heat? Add spice anywhere from level 1 to 10.

A short walk from Dotonbori and Hozenji Temple. Find the corner with the yellow noren, then turn left into the lantern-lined alley — that's where the entrance is.

Landmark: the yellow “ラーメン餃子” noren. The entrance is around the corner to the left, on the alley side.
